Say goodbye to context switching with Comments and Markup in DataSnipper. You can now add comments and mark up documents, all within Document Viewer in your Excel workbook.

Comments:
- Click on the Comment Icon on the DataSnipper ribbon or right-click on the document and select ‘Add a Comment’.
- Place your cursor on the document and click once to activate the Comment box. Type you comment, and click on the ‘Send’ button to post it.
- You can view, search, reply and resolve all the comments a document via the ‘View All Comments’ icon from the DataSnipper ribbon or on the top-right of the Document Viewer.
- This will open a panel on the right side of the Document Viewer, where you can see all the comments by default. You can use the search bar to find Comments. You can also also resolve or delete them here.
Markups:
- To add text mark-ups, arrows, checkmarks and cross-marks to your documment, click on the Markup icon on the DataSnipper ribbon.
- You will now see an additional ribbon on the Document Viewer, from which you can select all the Markup options, and change its colors.
To add Text Markups
- Click on the A icon on the Document Viewer toolbar
- Click on any part of the document you’d like to add the Text Markup in
- You can type text, increase or decrease font size, remove box border and change text colour as needed
- To delete the Markup, simply click on the delete icon
- You can duplicate the Markups in other documents or areas with CTRL+C and CTRL+V
To add Arrows, Checkmarks, Crossmarks
- Click on the Arrows, Checkmarks or Crossmarks options from the Markup options
- Drag the cursor to place the markup on the document
- You can change the color, change size or move the markup as needed
- To delete the Markup, simply click on the delete icon
Export Markups
Export source documents with Comments and Markups via 2 ways:
- Click on the Export icon on the DataSnipper ribbon, and check-off Export with Comments and Markups in the pop-up window.
- Export via the Document Organizer. Open the Document Organizer, and click on the ‘Export’ option on the top-right of the pop-up. check-off Export with Comments and Markups from the list.
Hold the CTRL key to select multiple Markups. You can change color, size or delete your selections at once.
You can duplicate the Markups in other documents or areas with CTRL+C and CTRL+V
