Use Form Extraction to extract data from documents with the same layout. Snip the data fields from one document and DataSnipper applies the same logic to your other documents. You can extract data per document, per page, or per line, and turn it into a data table you can work with.

What the video covers
The video shows opening Form Extraction, starting a new extraction, choosing whether to extract per document, page, or line, reviewing the extracted fields, and exporting the results to Excel.
Prerequisites
Import similarly formatted documents, for example payslips or bank statements.
Extraction modes
Extract per document. Use this when you have multiple documents with the same structure and want the same data from each one.
Extract per page. Use this when a document has multiple pages with the same structure.
Extract per line. Use this when a document has multiple lines with the same structure.
Start extracting
Open Form Extraction by clicking the Form Extraction button in the automation section of the DataSnipper ribbon.
Click Start new form extraction, then select or import the documents you want to use.
Choose the extraction mode that matches your document format (per document, per page, or per line). The extractions are applied immediately.
Check your data on the right side. If it is correct, click Export to Excel.
