How to import documents into Financial Statement Suite

How to import financial statements into Financial Statement Suite (FSS) in v6.0 and later, and in earlier versions.

Before using Financial Statement Suite, you need to import your financial statements. FSS opens in a standalone window separate from your Excel workbook.

Financial Statement Suite v6.0 and later

  1. Open an Excel workbook, click the Apps button in the DataSnipper ribbon, and select the Financial Statement Suite icon. Alternatively, pin FSS to your taskbar for quick access.

  2. FSS opens in a new window. Click Start a new tick and tie to import your documents, or use Import Project to open an existing project from your desktop.

Note: FSS stores your personal projects locally. Your organization does not have access to these projects.

Financial Statement Suite v5.x and earlier

  1. When you first open DataSnipper, the Financial Statement Suite button is greyed out. Use the main DataSnipper Import documents button to import at least one document first.

  2. Once at least one document is imported, the FSS button becomes clickable.

  3. Click Financial Statement Suite, choose your imported documents on the start page, and begin your procedure.
