Command Bar is a quick-access feature designed to help you find answers instantly without interrupting your workflow. Ask a single question and search within a specific document, without configuring DocuMine.

What is DocuMine?

DocuMine is an AI engine that removes the tedious task of manually searching through large volumes of documents. You can ask specific questions to receive precise answers. DocuMine automatically suggests answers to your questions and creates references to the relevant numbers, text, or sentences.

By replacing manual work with AI, you can focus on reviewing and validating data while staying in full control.

Command Bar in DocuMine is a quick-access feature that helps you find answers instantly without interrupting your workflow. Command Bar allows you to:

  • Ask a single question and instantly get a precise answer.

  • Search within a specific document for targeted insights.

  • Save time by bypassing the need to configure a full DocuMine setup.

It is well suited to quick checks and maintaining workflow momentum.

Prerequisites

  • DataSnipper v6.2 or later

  • User Management enabled in Admin

  • Accelerate or Elevate DataSnipper package

  • Access to the internet

Step 1: Activate Command Bar

Use Command Bar to ask a single question to a single document.

  • Click the Command Bar icon on the Document Viewer.

  • Or press CTRL + ALT + SPACE on your keyboard to open Command Bar.

Step 2: Enter your question

Type a specific question related to the document you are working on. For example:

  • "What is the name of the lessor/owner?"

  • "What is the period of the lease?"

  • "When does the agreement expire?"

Step 3: Select the document

Use the drop-down menu in Command Bar to select the document you want to search.

Step 4: Get your answer

  • Press Enter after typing your question.

  • DocuMine instantly provides the answer on the Answer Card.

  • The result includes references (Snips) to the document's location for easy verification.

Step 5: Review the context

  • Review the answer and the associated Snips to form your conclusion.

  • If the answer is correct, click Save Answer to save it in the designated cell.

  • If you determine the answer is incorrect, click Discard to reject it.
