AI Suggestions automatically detect data fields and extract data from a wide range of structured documents at scale, whether they are similarly or differently formatted. This reduces manual work and speeds up document processing. AI Suggestions are available in DataSnipper v6.1 or later.

What the video covers
The video imports a set of passport copies from different countries, starts a new Form Extraction using AI Suggestions, selects the document type, chooses which fields to extract, and extracts the data into Excel as a table.
Prerequisites
DataSnipper v6.1 or later.
DataSnipper Accelerate or Elevate package.
Step-by-step guide
Click Organize to import your source documents (for example, a set of passport copies from different countries).
Click Document Extraction and select Form Extraction from the dropdown.
Select Start new Form Extraction, then choose Use AI Suggestions in the pop-up window.
Select the relevant document type (Identity Documents in this example) and choose all the documents you want to extract data from.
In the new window, check the data fields you want to extract (for example First and Last Names, Document Number, Date of Birth) and click Accept to see sample extractions in the right-side panel.
Click Extract. The data is displayed in tabular form in your Excel workbook.
