Steps to solve the issue
To fix the issue of a missing DataSnipper instance, follow these steps:
1. Check if your organization has DataSnipper WebSnip Extension
- Open Excel Desktop and navigate to the DataSnipper tab.
- Click on the "Learn" dropdown menu and select "About."
- Look for "DataSnipper WebSnip Extension" in the list of DataSnipper products. If it's there, proceed to the next step.
2. Restart your Excel Desktop app
- Close Excel completely.
