How to open password-protected PDFs

In DataSnipper version 6.1 and later, you have the ability to import and open password-protected PDFs into FSS.

You can now easily import password-protected PDFs within the Financial Statement Suite. When you import your Current or Prior Year Financial Statement, FSS will prompt you to enter the password, allowing you to open it with just a single step.

💡 Please note that the ability to open password-protected PDFs is only supported by DataSnipper version 6.1 and later

💡You only need to provide the password once. Next time you import the same project, the password will be removed from the PDF. If you want to protect the PDF with a password again, this must happen outside of FSS (e.g. Adobe).
