How to Import documents from UpLink into DataSnipper

Leverage this seamless experience to streamline the audit process, specifically the request, retrieval, and management of documents from UpLink, AI-powered PBC to DataSnipper.

Pre-requisites:

  • DataSnipper v25.1 or later
  • UpLink add-on module

How-to Video:

Step-by-Step guide:

  1. Click on the Import icon on the DataSnipper Ribbon in your Excel workbook, and select the ‘From UpLink’ option.
  2. The pop-up will prompt you to log into UpLink with your email ID and password.
  3. Once logged in, you can view all your engagements from UpLink directly.
  4. Select the Request you would like to import into DataSnipper, and click on the Import button.
  5. You will see that all the documents from the request is now imported and ready for use with DataSnipper. Access the document on the Document Viewer and conduct your audit processes seamlessly.

NOTE: File storage is dependant on your workbook settings. Please ensure that 'Embed PDF' is toggled on in your workbook. This way, files get added to the workbook.
