Reconfiguring SSO and Directory Sync After the Authentication Platform Update

Overview

As part of DataSnipper's move to Okta for identity and access management, existing SSO and SCIM integrations will need to be reconfigured. This is a one-time step that your Dashboard Admin can complete directly from the DataSnipper Dashboard.

If your organization does not use SSO or SCIM, no action is needed.

Steps to reconfigure

  1. Log in to the DataSnipper Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Users > SSO Settings — or Directory Sync Settings if you use SCIM.
  3. Follow the setup guide to reconnect your integration with the new authentication platform.

SSO-only customers (without SCIM): Once reconfiguration is complete, users will need to be re-invited to DataSnipper.

What to expect

  • No downtime or service interruption is expected.
  • Your team can continue accessing DataSnipper via email code (OTP) while reconfiguration is in progress.
  • This update is fully GDPR-compliant and handled securely by the DataSnipper team.
